Third training ceremony for public defenders in matters relating to the right to FDS in partnership with IPAJ
Training Public Defenders: Third Ceremony in Partnership with IPAJ.
The ceremony, which took place in our recently opened facilities, brought together public defenders from across the region for a series of lectures, workshops and interactive discussions on topics related to the rights of children and youth. With the support of renowned experts and experienced professionals, participants were able to deepen their knowledge of pertinent legal issues and effective strategies to protect and promote the rights of children at risk.
This initiative is part of an ongoing effort by Domingos Sipobe Foundation and IPAJ to strengthen the capacity of public defenders and ensure that they have the necessary resources and knowledge to effectively represent the interests of the most vulnerable children and young people. Through regular training and strategic collaborations, we are empowering public defenders to be agents of change and advocates for children’s rights in our community.
In addition to providing essential legal information, the ceremony also served as a platform to share best practices, exchange experiences and strengthen professional networks among participating public defenders. This collaboration and exchange of knowledge is fundamental to improving the quality of legal services offered to children and young people in our region and to promoting a more comprehensive and needs-centered approach to these vulnerable groups.
As a result of this empowerment ceremony, we hope to see a lasting positive impact on protecting children’s rights and promoting justice for all. We are committed to continuing to work closely with IPAJ and other partners to further strengthen the justice system and ensure that every child and young person has access to their fundamental rights, regardless of their situation or circumstances.
At Domingos Sipobe Foundation, we firmly believe in the power of empowerment and collaboration to create meaningful and lasting changes in the lives of children and young people. We look forward to continuing our journey towards a fairer and more inclusive future for all.
